Recrational Activities

Happy Monday ladies, maybe this week be full of success for you all. For today's blog I want to talk you about recreational activities. It's important to be active, it's healthy. However sometimes we get so caught up with our busy lives that we forget to do something good for ourselves, and our body. Going to the gym is a commitment you make to yourself, and if you can keep it that awesome if you can’t don’t give up. However, if you ever want to take a break from the gym here are a couple of things you can try.

Kickboxing: Alright, many of you may think, what? That's such a guy thing, come on, let’s break the stereotype! There are great packages you can try for kick boxing, and there are also women classes you can take. Between you and me, it's also a great way to lose some weight. If you however with time find it to be a great sport, you may even choose to enter on amateur competitions.

Zumba: What better way is there to lose weight than to have fun while you do it? Find a Zumba class around your area and go and have some fun. Dancing makes you sweat all over, it’s also a good way to lose weight and burn some calories. You can find Zumba classes at your gym or at a community centre near your home. It's also a good way to have fun with family and friends, or to meet new people. Just give it a shot.

Swimming: There is nothing more relaxing than swimming (well at least that's my perspective). Swimming helps you work on cardio, and it makes you sweat, you just can’t feel it because you're under water. Another good thing about going to the pool is the hot tub and the steam room. Sitting in the hot tub is amazing when you have the pressure of the water hitting your back (super relaxing). Another enjoyable thing about the pool is the steam room, it makes you sweat and it works wonders on your pores.

Very well, that's all I have for you today. But remember these are just suggestions. There are also loads of outdoor activities you can do such as hiking, running, going on trails ect. Just remember it’s healthy to keep active, and there is no one who can stop you but yourself. I’ll leave you with that, until next time.
