And we have come to the end of February! Wow, this
month went by extremely fast. I hope you guys make this week worthwhile. In
today's blow we're going to be talking about how to get rid of dandruff.
Dandruff is something anyone can experience, sometimes you can get it on the
second or third day of not washing your hair (and once you wash it, it is
gone). Other times it maybe because you over wash your hair, honestly, it all
depends. Getting rid of dandruff is not
always easy and sometimes it becomes a constant battle between you and those
unappealing flakes. Here are a couple of ways how to combat the flakes.
Hot Oil: Alright, this method sounds super strange but it's very effective, cheap, and easy. All you need to do is heat up olive oil and macadamia oil together, and apply the mixture ( make sure it's not super-hot of course). Make sure you apply it all over. Once you're ready to take it off you'll notice that all those unwanted flakes will fall out. This method however is not always the easiest to take out because oil can be super greasy, even when mixed with water. Therefore if you're going to follow this method, make sure to wash your hair very well.
Methi Seeds: Methi seeds are great for treating dandruff. First of all grind the seeds and mix them with water, later strain the seed from the mixture. Once you have done this apply it to your scalp and keep it in for a couple of hours. you may choose to tie up your hair or wrap a towel for greater results. A lot of people also like using it as rinsing water after washing their hair.
Apples: Apples are not only tasty but they are super good for the skin, which means, they are also very good for the scalp. The reason why apples are good for the skin is because they help get rid of dead skin cells, aka dandruff. With this remedy all you need is pure apple juice mixed with water. Leave in the mixture for 15 mins and then rinse it off. This is one of the best methods to treat unwanted flakes. If you do this a couple of times a week I can guarantee you, you will see and feel the difference.
Okay ladies, those are all the tips I have for you today. There are many ways to treat dandruff without spending money on expensive shampoos. Always remember there are numerous amount of people deal with dandruff, so don't be embarrassed by it. It can only be embarrassing if you do nothing about it.
