Making Time to Think About Your Dreams and Aspirations

Hi ladies, I know you’re probably wondering what is she going to talk about? Well let me explain, many times we are so busy with our daily lives that we forgot about ourselves and our needs. I’m a strong believer that everyone should make time to think, to wonder, and to dream. Okay, now you’re probably thinking, umm yes everyone has that. And well you’re right everyone has that, but it all comes down to what you as an individual are willing to do about it. I personally believe there are many ways to getting in touch with your inner self and figuring out what is that you want out of your life. Let me share with you some of the things I consider nourishing for the soul.

Yoga: I have yet to try yoga, but people who do go to yoga are always telling me to give it a shot, it takes you into a meditative state and helps you clear your head of all the things that are currently on your mind or things that are bugging you. After having a clear and relax mind set you can really being to think about what matters to you and what you want for yourself in the future.

Reading: There is nothing more nourishing to your brain than a good book. And I’m not just talking about any book, I’m talking about a book that is going to motivate you, a book that helps you think on what you want; and a book that teaches you something and will inspire you to take action. Ladies in life we need motivation, some of the times we get it from people close to us, but most often than not you get it from a good book.

Collage: Some of you may really like this idea. If you’re a crafty person you will definitely get fancy with this one. Make a collage out of your thoughts, cut up words, pictures; stick whatever you want on it. You may even decide to set up deadlines for yourself, for example, in the next three years I want to publish a book. This collage is all about you and for you so make sure to keep it in a place in where you know you will be able to see it, that way every time you see it you can remind yourself of what you want and what you are currently doing to achieve it.

Alright ladies, these are just a few ways to think about your goals, dreams, and aspirations. We only get once shot at life, and we might as well try to achieve every goal we set for ourselves (after all, there is nothing more rewarding than that). If you like the first two suggestions I would highly recommend you right things down on a journal (you can get creative with it too if you like). Always remember ladies that “where there is a will, there is a way” Nothing can be unachievable; you just have to work at it!
