How to Prevent and Treat Pimples

Okay ladies, let’s be honest everyone gets pimples. In fact often times they come in the most inconvenient times! Or maybe that’s just my bad luck… they always seem to appear right before a particular event. It’s absolutely annoying; you may or may not know what I’m talking about. Truthfully it also depends on the type of skin you have. Nonetheless a woman should always take care of her face; I mean if pimples are not dealt with properly they can leave scars or they can continue to appear, something you defiantly don’t want! Let’s take a look at some of the things that can be done to prevent and deal with outbreaks (I know, sadly there is no way to completely avoid pimples).

1)

Remove the Make Up:  Some of you ladies may already be aware that leaving on your make up can cause pre-mature wrinkles but did you know it can cause pimples too?  Trust me, sometimes we all think “oh I’m too tired to wash my face, I just got in bed” and then we pass out.  This is so
bad for the face! In the morning when we wake up its oily and gross!

2)      Avoid Greasy Food + Stress:  It’s very important to keep a good diet, if you eat too many greasy foods it will eventually start reflecting on your face, that phrase “you are what you eat” is very true. Also, lay a low profile don’t stress so much on things you can’t control, and try to always get a goodnight rest.

3)      Find a Good Cleanser: Okay this is a tough one, because you really got to test out how certain products work on your skin. Now you got to be careful because some products can actually have a negative effect, they can cause your skin to be dry, or oily, leading to greater breakouts. If you have sensitive skin make sure to be extra cautious when testing products, it may even be a good idea to ask a dermatologist. There are a couple of good products out there but some may have withdrawal symptoms and other times your skin may simply adapt to the product. Therefore it is good to slowly discontinue the product for a little bit, this way the skin doesn’t adapt to it (if you do this the product will still work when you decide to use it again) and it will avoid withdrawal effects.

4)      Tooth Paste/ Vicks: Okay many of you have heard that tooth paste helps pimples dry faster, but did you know Vicks works even better! For greater a greater effect I also suggest placing a hot towel on the area where your pimple is located, damp it dry, and place the Vick or the toothpaste on the spot. Leave it overnight. In the morning things will be looking a lot better and you can pop it. Remember it is crucial not to pop pimples when they are not ready, it causes scaring!
Alright ladies, that’s all it is in a knot shell. Take care of your face because if you don’t know one else will. Eat healthy, don’t stress too much, and always wash your face!
