In love and Distance

Ladies if you have the person you love by your side be grateful and show them appreciation every once in a while.  For those of you ladies, who have the man you love far away, don’t lose hope of one day being together. Love is hard to find so if you’ve found him hold onto him. Sometimes it’s hard to keep in contact because of work, especial events, or perhaps time differences. But all great things require sacrifice and time put into them. So if you are willing to do these things here are some things to keep in mind.

State your relationship: This is important, you need to know where you stand with him, you don’t want to waste time on someone that you may not have a future with. Talk to him about relocation, is he willing to move to where you are? Are you willing to move to where he is? These things are important to know at the beginning of the relationship.

Trust: Okay, if you are willing to be in a long distance relationship, you must trust one another. Do not get jealous and wonder where he is at all times. Don’t play the controlling girlfriend either it’s not something he will enjoy; he may even feel hurt that you don’t confide in him. Let’s be honest and realistic, no one likes being controlled.

Doing things together: Now I know you can’t physically do things together because you’re far apart but now a day we are lucky to have such advance technology. Therefore you can plan on watching a movie on Netflix or online (while on Skype) you can pretend to be in your own little movie theater!

Visit each other when possible: This may be more difficult for some couples than others. However it is good to at least make the effort to see each other every now and then. We are only human and we do long to be hugged, kissed, and loved by our significant other. So try your best to get some time off work.

                Now ladies keep in mind that being in a long distance relationship is hard but your relationship only grows stronger. Great love can conquer many things. So don’t lose hope! If you talk to your man at least once a day, keep at it. It’s always good listening to each other’s day; it’s the little things that get you by, right?  Finally if you truly believe he is the one for you don’t give up; believe and have faith that things will fall into place when the time is right.
