Must Have: Make UP Essentials

      Hello, Hello ladies, I hope you are all doing well and are ready for a new week. It's amazing how fast the time flies by; we're already half way through the year. For today's blog discussion I would like to talk about some makeup essentials you should always make sure to have. Let’s take a look and see what they are.
 
Cover Up: Alright, sometimes there are women who don't use cover up because they don't need it. Other times women use it to complement their skin and even out their face. However I think every woman should owe cover up. The reason why I think this is because sometimes we wake up with unpleasant zits or pimples on our face, and although the cover up won't make them go away, it will definitely help hide them. If you do use cover up on the daily, I suggest using the powder cover up, it's easier to apply, and it's less heavy on your skin, which means it won’t clog up your pores as much.

Blush: Blush is another good thing to have, not all of us are so lucky to have rosy cheeks naturally. However, having blush gives the face some color and makes one look more alive and less pale.

 
Concealer: Oh the eye bags, how I despise them. Nowadays women have a lot on their plate, we are busy individuals, and sometimes the day is not long enough for what needs to get done. For this reason we deprive ourselves from sleep, and suffer the consequences! How terrible. But not to worry, coffee will wake us up, and concealer, the “magical eye bag cover” up will hide our bags. Having concealer is so beneficial for when you want to go out, but don't want to look like a zombie!
 
Lipstick: As a woman, you can never ever go wrong with lipstick! I think it's a most have accessory. The nice thing about lipstick is that you can mix and match depending on your outfit or what color you like to wear. To me, lipstick is the thing that gives your look an extra pow. It is the cherry on top of the ice cream. It gives the face more character and makes guys think OooOo lala ;)
 
Mascara: Oh mascara, I love using mascara, I barely have eyelashes! Applying mascara works wonders on the lashes, it makes them longer, darker, and more define.  If you already have long lashes, mascara will make your eyes look wonderful, if you are like me, mascara will make you look like you have some leashes, hahaha.
 
     As you can see ladies, you don't need a lot to look beautiful; you just need the basic essentials to define your features. Every other piece of cosmetic is an extra. Well I hope you enjoyed these tips. Have a wonderful week ahead of you.

The Wonders of Lipstick!

Did you know that every woman can pull off any colour of lip stick if and when she finds the right shade of colour that matches her skin tone? Therefore if you want to try on a new lip colour but are scared to because you don't know how it will look on you take a look at all the different types of shades that come in that particular colour. Also keep in mind that different brands carry different shades of colour. For this reason it is good to look around and see which colour looks the absolute best on you. Now that you know these things, let’s talk about the different ways in which you can make your lips look more vibrant and kissable.


Primer: Alright ladies, just as there is eye primer there is lip primer. I highly suggest wearing primer in order for your lipstick to last longer. Many lipsticks claim they last up to twelve, but as you may already know that doesn’t always occur if you do not wear primer. Several things such as eating and having drinks can get rid of your lipstick. If you do not owe lip primer it is totally fine because instead of using actual primer you can chose to use some of your foundation prior to applying your lipstick. Once you have done this you may choose to add some clear lip gloss for a shiny look (I personally like it better without the lip gloss, but it’s all up you.)

Lip liner: okay, I know it's not as common as it used to be, but I still love lip liner! I think it gives your lips better definition. And hey you don't have to use a red lip liner and a shiny lip gloss, that's old school, get creative, try outlining your lips a dark red and a lighter red in the middle, this gives your lips a plump like look, and adding shiny lip gloss is the killer. It will definitely give you kissable lips, perhaps something to consider when going on a date? ;)


Mix and match: okay if you are trying to get super creative by mixing different types of lipstick to create the ultimate look you should go about it in this way. First apply your base colour; then gradually start applying the other tones of lipstick you are going to use (make sure to mix well or to gradually move from one colour to the next, if you are trying to go from dark to light of course). I would suggest working your way from the corners of your mouth inwards. Finally you may decide to add some lip liner for more definition. And for this type of look ladies you need to add lip gloss, it’s a must!


Very well ladies these are just a couple of suggestions on things you can try with lipstick, remember don't be scared to get creative, if you happen to mess up there is always make up remover, it’s no biggie.

Don't Threat When in a Rush!

 

        Okay, this is something that happens to everyone, some more than others, and that’s waking up late! Sometimes you completely dismiss your alarm or simply don't hear it. Some of you are probably thinking “yes that happens to me often."  It's horrible when you have to be somewhere at a certain time and don't think you're going to make it. And how awful it is to be rushed and have no time to get ready! I mean who really thinks about doing her hair or make up?  selecting an outfit is difficult enough as it is ( that is if you don't wear a uniform of course) bottom line ladies, I want to share some tips with you that will help you get ready quickly and still manage to look good.  
 
1) Select your outfit ahead of time: the night before: If you know you've had a long day and are really tired, it's better to select your outfit the night before, trust me on this one, it’s always better to be prepared. Having this done has gotten me out of the house faster.                                           
 
2) The Make Up: okay now, you're probably going " girl, how I'm I going to have time to do make up." Don't worry it's actually quite simple, in fact it takes less than three minutes! All you really have to do is just enhance your natural beauty, forget the mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. Firstly apply on your foundation, spread it evenly all over your face. Secondly put on some blush. And redefine your eyebrows by filling them in with a brow pencil. To top of the look you may choose to add some lipstick (the nice thing is that you can add lipstick anywhere, it doesn't necessarily have to be while you’re trying to leave your house!)
 
3) The Hair: Alright this can be a little tricky considering everyone has different hair types and some hairs ate hard to tame. Therefore I'll give specific tips for certain hair types.

      I) Curly hair: Okay, curly is    difficult, but don't panic, there is always a solution. When in a rush I highly suggest adding your usual hair products and tying it up in messy bun. You can also chose to add certain hair accessories for a cuter look.
 
      II) Wavy Hair: This type of hair can be docile all you have to do is learn how to deal with it. If you're in a rush you can aid your natural waves by adding some moose, or you can simply choose to put it in a bun or braid it.
 
      III) Straight Hair: If you have straight hair you are one lucky girl! All you have to do is brush it out and it will be ready, or you can put it up of you like.
 
      -Very well ladies, these are just a couple of tips on how to go about when you are in a rush. Remember a woman doesn't need to wear a lot of make up to look beautiful, and her hair doesn't need to be perfect every day.
