Hi ladies, how are you all doing? I hope
you are all doing well, and that you are all ready for the weekend. Today's
blog will be about event planning. I don't know about any of you, but planning
events for someone else is easy, but when it comes to planning something for
yourself it's a little bit harder. Anyways, today I will talk about three
common events. Let's take a look.
Birthdays: Birthdays are always nice to plan, when they are for someone else. When it comes to my birthday, I have no idea what to do. Anyways, having a surprise party is always fun. You can have a potluck, have everyone over, and yell surprise, once the birthday girl or boy has entered the room. Another thing that can be planned for birthdays is bowling. Bowling is fun when you do it with a group of people, and you can order snacks and drinks. Going to the club is always an option. Another super fun thing you can do is a beach party. If your birthday is in the summer, you can take advantage of the hot weather.
Bachelorette parties: Woooh someone's getting married. These parities can be a little more challenging to plan. However, a dinner is always a must. Ordering some girly drinks is ideal too. For bachelorette parity you should definitely go dancing, if you don't want to go to a club, find a place in where you can dance, like a restaurant. Another thing you can do is bring the party to you. Have dinner at someone's house, play some fun games, and maybe have a special event planned for the bride to be.
Baby Showers: Okay, I don't know about you, but these are one of my favorite events to help run. First of all, setting up the decorations is fun. You can even use baby clothing and place it on the wall for some extra décor. Once again, with baby showers you can have a potluck or you can supply all the food, it’s up to you. The fun thing about baby showers is the games, such as feeding "the baby," "changing the baby," and making baby clothing. There a lot of fun games, there is even baby bingo. Another fun thing to do is to estimate how big the baby bump is in the mother to be. Buying small presents for the winners makes the games more fun because people get competitive.
