Chlorine Hair Treatment

Chlorine Hair. Ugh. It's just treacherous, isn't it? Your hair feels rough, hard and fairly undesirable but of course that's not going to stop you from going swimming, and it certainly doesn't have to. There are a variety of hair care routines you can take to help deter your hair from chlorine damage while also treating it afterwards. Don't worry though. If you're only swimming in chlorine water once in a while, it shouldn't really have an effect on your hair. However, frequently swimming in chlorine water can certainly cause significant damage. Well, if you didn't have these tips, of course.

Soaking your hair with cold water will help deter the chlorine water from soaking into your strands. It's somewhat similar to the sponge theory. If a sponge is already soaked in water, it will only retain so much more of it. This can be said for your hair as well. Thoroughly rinse your hair with cold tap water (Most pool areas do have an outside shower head) prior to entering the pool.

Once you're out of the pool, remember to rinse, rinse, and rinse like you've never rinsed before. It will start the process of removing the chlorine from your hair well before it can truly settle in your strands. Again, most pool areas do offer a shower facet on the site which you should honestly take advantage of, even if you're going back in the pool in a bit. Rinse right away. Every time. Before and after.

If you're heading straight home after a pool visit, you should jump in the shower and actually clean your hair with some chlorine specific shampoo. This will immediately take out the majority of the chlorine which is currently in your hair after you've rinsed it on the pool deck from when you initially got out of the water. There are great options for chlorine treating shampoos for both adults and children, and certainly chlorine has the same effect on both hair, and it's never too young to start treating those strands with some tender love and care.

Lastly, you want to add in a boost of moisture since chlorine and the process of removing chlorine from your hair has essentially removed the nutrients that your locks need to remain luscious. Leave in conditions work wonders and will help detangle the dry mess that often comes after a swim in a chlorine filled pool. If you've been swimming in chlorine often, a deep moisturizing hair therapy may be needed twice a week to maintain the look your hair desires.

The other option that truly doesn't seem realistic to provide to such stunning babes such as yourself is the recommendation of wearing a swimming cap. Seriously? Everyone's thinking it, and there's no way you're going to a public pool with that thing on your head. However, if you don't care this could be a great way to protect your strands. Your fashion and style, on the other hand will be totally sacrificed at the same time.

Glitter Fashion

Wow, the month of April is definitely passing by quickly! I certainly hope all you ladies had a stupendous work/school week. For today's blog I want to focus on the fun of using glitter. A lot of people when they think glitter, they think mess. And I can completely understand because glitter can be messy, but it can also be fun to wear and very, very, very pretty. Let’s take a look at how glitter can be rocked.

Body Glitter
: Okay, there are obviously many kinds of glitters that can be worn. There is loose glitter that resembles powder; however I do not recommend this one. Instead I recommend using glitter lotion. In buying glitter lotion you are making sure that glitter will stick to your body and not you clothing! Now when it comes to applying glitter make sure you don't overdo it! You don't want your body to be super sparkly; instead you want it to be glamorous and sexy.

Eye -shadow: This is one of my favorite looks. I obsoletely love seeing glamorous make up. It's such a night time type of look, don't you think? Anyways, what kind of glitter is used for the eyes? Well ladies there is two types of shadows available, there is the creamy glitter ones or the regular eye-shadow pallets. I have no particular preference when it comes to these two options. However when you are trying to achieve that glamorous glitter eye makeup, you must wear primer! We already agreed that glitter can be messy.... in this case however; even eye- shadow gets messy if you don’t wear primer, So don’t forget the most basic step.

Nails: Nail glitter has become quite common in the past couple of years. And indeed glitter nails look quite cute. However it's not an everyday look that can be pulled off. It's a type of look you can pull off during certain events (that is if you're going to paint all of your nails with that glittery polish). Instead of painting all your nails with glitter you may decide that you want to use glitter to help create a design (glitter designs look awesome!). If you just use the glitter to decor your nails you can rock the look any time because it's not as heavy as painting all your nails with glitter.

Accessories: Another way of rocking glitter is through your accessories. There are tons of glamorous glittery things. It's just about finding the right ones. For example you can purchase a gold glittery belt and wear it with a plain outfit. Or you can buy a sparkly headband and wear it with a little black dress. The beauty about these types of accessories is that they put more wow into your outfit, they give it more life. The key to being able to wear sparkling accessories is to wear plain outfits. In this way both your outfit and your accessories complement each other.

Very well my lady friends, I hope you enjoyed today's blog. Now go enjoy your weekend with your loved ones, until next time.

Fabulous Lashes

Hello ladies, I hope you all took advantage of the weekend and did everything you had in mind. For today's blog we will be talking about lashes. Eyelashes can be such a powerful weapon when it comes to flirting with that special someone ;). Having that said, today I want to share with you some tips and tricks about eyelashes.

Long Lashes: Okay ladies, there are several ways you can achieve bigger lashes. For one you can go get eyelash extensions! Yes this is for real, there is such thing. They won't last as long as hair extensions of course, but they will last for about a month or so. So if you want to give lash extensions a shot, go for it, they look quite good. Another way to get longer lashes is to buy a growth product for your lashes. These products usually come in tubes that look like mascaras, so keep an eye out next time you go make up shopping.

Applying Mascara: Okay, there are definitely different kinds of mascaras   out there. So depending on which one you use you'll get different results. However having that said, there are other things to consider because the brush used to apply the mascara also has a great impact on the overall look. When it comes to applying mascara here the things you should do and use.

1) Use two different kinds of mascaras for the top and bottom lashes. For your top lashes you want a mascara that gives you length and thickness. For the bottom lashes you want to use a mascara that gives you sharpness. You may also want to use two different kinds of brushes for the top and bottom lashes.

2) Comb the Lashes: Often times when applying mascara clumps form and the lashes become clumpy and unappealing. In order to get rid of the clumps it's best to use a tiny eyebrow comb to comb the clumps out.

Rocking Fake lashes: Fake lashes, are awesome, they look amazing if you select the ones that go best with you. When it comes to fake lashes there are tons of different sizes and shapes so sometimes it's best to adjust them by cutting them slightly until they fit you perfectly. Once this is achieved glue them on and apply a little bit of mascara to blend them in with your natural eyelashes; and tada your look is achieved.

There you have it ladies. These are some helpful tips and tricks on how to make your lashes look their best, I hope you found them enlightening. That's all I have for you today. Have a wonderful Monday.

Ombre Proof Tresses

Ombre hair is back, and although some may argue that it's simply the appearance of grown out roots, Hollywood stars beg to differ, as do all of their hair stylists. Personally, I'm a believe of the prior, but I'm also the girl who never notices a bad case of roots. In fact, I kind of like the look so I guess in turn you can say that I like the ombre appearance. Since this hair trend seems to be blowing up across the globe, I figured that I might as well deliver a post to this two toned hair do. To each their own, and if you're daring enough to take your style confidence to the next level, these ombre hair care tips will certainly help achieve nothing but the most flawless look possible.

The absolutely most imperative tip to this hair trend is to remember that the color change is gradual. You don't go straight from black to brown, or brown to black. There has to be a gradual blend into one another to ensure that the ombre hair trend is done correctly. Whether you're doing an at-home-dye job or getting it professionally done, make sure that the emphasis is put on the importance of the gradual color change.

The second most important tip to remember when daring the ombre hair dye job is that the darker tone is to be on your roots. For example, if you want a colorful blend of brown and blonde, brown would be the roots that gradually fade into blonde. Doing the tones the opposite way isn't not only ombre, but it could turn out rather treacherous and ladies let get serious here, you don't mess with your hair if you're unsure.

The last thing to remember is to keep your strands nourished and use color safe hair care products. Since you're already rocking a rather daring look, you want to ensure that it does go from fab to faded simply because you chose to use the wrong products afterwards. Plus, why spend all that time and money on a stunning ombre dye job, only to use awful products and have it all turn into a faded mess. It doesn't sound ideal and certainly taking the two seconds longer to opt for color friendly products will prove to be extremely worth it.

Ombre is definitely a daring hair trend, but these tips should ensure that you rock the look as flawless as celebrities such as the Kardashian sisters do. You can't deny that the Kardashian girls are total and complete babes. It's also imperative for you to remember that confidence is always the main thing that you need to pull off any look, regardless if it's the ombre or not.

Pretty Underams

Hello ladies, I hope you all had good week. I know I'm definitely looking forward to the weekend. In today's blog we will be talking about how to prevent and get rid of dark Underarms. Believe it or not, many women deal with this unappealing situation. There are several reason why the underarms darken. One of the main reasons is because our deodorant and are clothes are always in contact with each other, which causes lint to mesh with our deodorant, and therefore causes darkness. But not to fear, here are some ways on how to get rid of and how to prevent dark underarms.

Waxing: A lot of the times it's much better to wax then shave, especially when it comes to under your arms. The reason for this is because once you wax all that lint mixed with your deodorant gets yanked off too. Waxing will leave your armpits feeling and looking clean and smooth.

Avoid the same Blade: Many women don't like waxing, and it's understandable because sometimes it irritates them. However there is something that must be taken into consideration. Using the razor too many times is one of the reasons why the underarms darken. How is this possible? Well the answer is simple. When using a razor we are getting rid of unwanted hair, which serves its purpose, but we are also dirtying the blade. This means that if you continue using the same blade you will give yourself dark underarms. If you use a razor it is best to change the blade often! Perhaps after every 2-3 times you shave.

Scrub: Every time you shower make sure to scrub under your arms. In doing this you're getting rid of unwanted lint and deodorant that may be stuck. If you are trying to get rid of underarm darkness you can chose to make your own scrub by using sugar and lime. Make sure to use a towel or sponge to better your results. Apply it 3-4 times a week and you will see the difference, I promise!

Okay ladies, there you have it. No more being a shame or self-conscious of wearing tanks. As you can see you can see getting rid of darkness under your arms quite simply. It just takes knowing what can be done. And since now you know, there is no more excuses! I will leave you with this mind, until next time. Have a great weekend.

Taking Care the Teeth

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a stupendous weekend. In today’s blog we will be discussing the importance of having clean, and pearly white teeth. As many people have stated “a smile is the best curve a girl could have.” And to be honest, I think it’s very true, a smile is a beautiful gesture you can give to anyone. And why not do so with nice, pearly white teeth? Having white teeth can be difficult sometimes, some people don’t have white teeth because it’s genetic, and other times people don’t have white teeth because they smoke too much; but not to worry, there are plenty things that can be done to keep your teeth looking their best.

Dental Cleaning: I know, I know everyone hates going to the dentist, but believe me getting your cleaning done twice a year is the best. Dentist go all out, they clean your teeth, floss them, and get it rid of all the plaque that you can’t get rid of with a regular tooth brush. And ladies make sure you always floss on your own, it really does prevent you from getting cavities!

Baking Soda: Okay, this remedy is quite awful tasting, but it works. When your teeth are starting to lose their whitening make a paste out of baking soda and a little bit of water. Brush your teeth as you normally would. Once you’re done you may want to brush your teeth with regular tooth paste to get rid of the taste. Do this a couple of times a week, and I can guarantee you will see results.

Orange and Lemon Peels: Okay this sounds a little weird, but it’s definitely worth a shot. Lemon and oranges are very citric, which means they are good for cleaning! Rubbing your teeth with orange and lemon peels sounds a little unordinary, but it’s just another form of whitening your teeth.

Whitening Strips: Of course, you have all heard of whitening strips, and they work well. I know people who have tried them and they were happy with their results. So if you don’t want to try all those other remedies give these strips a shot.

Very well ladies, there you have it. I hope you all found this blog informative. Remember it’s important to keep your smile nice and bright. “Your smile is the best gift  you can give to the world,” and why not do so with pretty teeth? I’ll leave you with these thoughts. Have a wonderful week.
