A Little Spritz For The Inner You

When we get ready for the day, we select clothing that will project the persona we want to exude for the rest of the day. To enhance the overall feel that we are creating, we style our hair a certain way, apply certain shades of makeup if any shades at all, add jewelry and accessories to complement, and then select the purse and shoes that finish off the final look. All this is selected to help us portray our personality and who we are and with how we want to be perceived to the outside world.
All these items: the clothes; the jewelry; the hairstyle, makeup and accessories, are all items that are very physically visible to the world. Yes this is you. But why not add a subtle whisper of who you are? Something that whispers, “Hey you. I’m here. Don’t you wish you knew who I was?”
Fragrances are the best way to add a hint of who you are, that invades and tantalizes those around you, leaving a lingering impression in your wake. There are several types of fragrances available.

For The Energetic:
Citrus: Citrusy fragrances evoke a very lively and energetic scent. Like the name self explains, the type derives its scent from citrus fruits. Some designer fragrances that center on citrus include Clinique Happy, Cartier Eau de Cartier for Women, Calvin Klein CK One.

For The Romantic:
Floral: Floral scents are very sweet and perfect for the romantic, created from a diverse selection of flowers. These scents are ultra feminine and include some designer fragrances such as Chanel No. 5, Lancome Tresor and Anna Sui.

For The Good Girl With An Inner Bad Girl:
Fruity: Fruity scents are very fresh with a hint of spiciness. Fruity scents include fruits such as berries, peaches, apples, and mangoes. Designer fragrances include Avon Fire Me Up, Harajuku Lovers Lil’ Angel, and Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Now 2010.

For The Fresh and Clean:
Green: Green scents are fresh also, but in the sense of earthy, fresh leaves and fresh mowed lawns. Although this is more unisex, this scent is nice for daily use that is light and fresh. Designer fragrances that are green scents include Ralph Lauren Safari, Escada Sport Country Weekend, Adidas Adrenaline Woman.

Oceanic: Oceanic scents are also fresh, but in the way of mountain air and clean linen. This is a very light perfume but clean and neat. Designer fragrances include Christian Dior Dune, Giorgio Beverly Hills Ocean Dream, and Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers.

For The Sexy and Dangerous
Oriental: Oriental scents are very sensual, musky, and exotic. These fragrances tend to be very bold and strong, immersed with scents of amber and earth. Designer fragrances with an oriental essence include Elizabeth Taylor Black Pearls, Versace Crystal Noir, and Givenchy Organza.

Spicy: Spicy fragrances tend to include the basic scents of your cooking spices such as cinnamon, pepper, ginger and cloves. This scent is great for any type of function. Some designer fragrances include Chanel Coco, BCBG Girls, and Estee Lauder Cinnabar.

Whatever your personality, whatever the day, use a little perform to enhance and bring out the true you, or maybe to help bring out the alternate persona in you.

At Home Pampering

Good morning ladies, I'm hoping you all had a wonderful weekend. Today's topic is going to be about at home pampering. Now you may choose to do this with a group of girlfriends or with your loved one. It's simple, relaxing, and a great method of bonding…. And it’s also super economic. It’s pretty much having a spa at the comfort of your own home (or your friend’s home), Sounds fantastic, right? Any who, let’s take a look at some of the things that will be needed.

Back Massage Station: Alright, massages are not hard to give. Just make sure you have somewhere in where you can give someone a massage. You can use a bed or an inflatable bed. When giving a massage to someone else you want to make sure you're not just rubbing your hands on his/ her back, you want to use some type of lotion; I recommend Aloe Vera lotion.

Foot Rubs: Okay, this can be uncomfortable.... Not many people are okay with touching feet. However, if you're willing to give someone a pedicure or if your friend or loved one is willing to give you a pedicure, so be it. For this you guys will need one of those water foot massagers. If you don't have one you guys can use a bucket of warm water and soak the feet there until they become soft.  After doing this I recommend using a pumice stone and rubbing the feet…. A friend may not want to do this or you may not want to do this for someone else…nonetheless I recommend for each of you to try it on yourselves. Believe me; using a pumice stone is great for removing callouses. Once the feet become clean and the callouses are gone pick a nail colour and show your pretty feet to the world.

Hand Station: Alright, this is my all-time favorite. Hand massages are simple and no one minds giving them. When getting your hands done or vice versa, make sure to use some hand lotion. It’s always important for the hands to be moisturized. Once all of that is done, pick a color and wait to get your nails painted! You guys may also want to buy some nail art to get more creative (it’s always better to get assisted when doing nail art, so take advantage).

Facial Masks: In order to cleanse your face you guys can buy mud facial masks. These masks are available almost everywhere, so next time you go to a drug store keep an eye out.

Okay my friends that is all for today. I hope you all enjoyed today's tips and got some ideas. Remember it's a good way to spend some time with your friends or that special someone.... however with your special someone you might not be able to get your nails done… that you might have to do yourself. Nonetheless, it's very much enjoyable.

Everything You've Ask About Ombre

It's totally normal to question the Ombre hair trend. It's not every day that two toned, perfectly blended hair is a haute hair trend. That's not to mention that it's much more complex than to adopt as you can't just go out and get the latest and hottest color of hair dye, and braid your hair to fit the latest hairstyle talk. This hair trend is simply put, a lot more than what you may be used to. However, it's not a hair trend that you should just let pass by you. All the questions and concerns that you may have about ombre hair is all right here for you.

Is Ombre Hair Trending in 2013?
You bet your sweet arse it is! Ombre hair is making a comeback for the summer season, and what a stunning way to take a splash into the warm weather. Previously trending was the ombre hair that flairs down into some eccentric color, such as pink or purple. However, this summer season is all about the ombre that simply goes darker near the ends, without the electricity. Blonde to brown, or brown to black for lack of better words. Although, that does sound a tad bit boring - Something that this hair trend certainly isn't.

Is Ombre Hair Appropriate For Work?
Yes it is, especially this year's version of the trend. As mentioned, ombre is trending with normal hair colors. There's no punk flair tending to it right now. Therefore, you won't be rocking unprofessional locks to  a professional setting because your hair tones will all be very normal. On the contrary, you'll be looking anything but typical! As long as you keep your ombre hair looking natural and perfectly blended, it will definitely be ideal for the work setting, as it will be for when you're ready to let loose with the ladies.

Is Ombre Hair Damaging?
Well, to be completely honest with you, anytime you dye your hair, you're damaging your hair. This can be said the same for every time you take a step outside of your home without a hat on. It's a dye job, so yes, it is damaging. However, it is a tad bit more damaging than a regular dye job as it often requires some bleaching. As long as you're always taking proper hair care procedures, you won't have to be concerned about whether or not the ombre hair will kill your ends.

Is Ombre Hair a Fad?
All trends are a fad, to be fair. It's a spunk of popularity that is super haute to trot that eventually dies out. On that note though, ombre was in last year and is back for another kick. So although it's a fad, it's definitely one that won't die out before your dye job. Enjoy it while you can because soon enough, another hair trend will be taking over the popularity scene.

Teased Hair

Good morning divas, I hope you are all well rested, and if not have no fear the weekend is nearly here. For today's particular blog I want to talk about teasing the hair. A tease gives volume and it makes the hair look beautiful, however if you tease your hair on the daily it's very damaging. Teasing is something you should do on occasions. So today I want to give you some general tips on teasing the hair and getting rid of a tease.

Straight Hair Tease: This is by far the most common type of tease. When you straighten your hair you may choose to add a tease, a look that is quite easy to achieve. My suggestion to you is to use a comb, a lot of people use brushes, but that's just more damaging to the hair. So always try using a comb. Select a section of your hair and comb it backwards. Once you have achieved the height of your tease comb that area lightly and properly to hide the knots. Some women even like to curl the bottom so it gives it more POW. Add some hairspray so the tease stays in place and voila, you're ready to go.

Curly Hair Tease: Okay, some of you may be like what? How do you do that? Well, it's actually quite simple, once you have taken your hair out of the rollers (the tease looks better if you use rollers because you achieve tighter curls) take a strand of the curl and push the rest of the curl up with your hand. Doing this will definitely give a tremendous amount of volume. With teased curls you can create wonderful hairdos by using bobby pins to pin up some one the strands up. The hair style looks complicated but it's actually super easy. It's all about getting creative.

Getting rid of a Tease: Many people think “I’ll just brush through my tease, which seems like a reasonable thing to do, but that’s not the best option because it is more damaging to your hair. When you tease your hair you’re essentially creating knots, and knots and a brush are not always the best combination. My suggestion is to get rid of the tease in the shower, using plenty of conditioner and a comb. Using Conditioner helps undo the knots more rapidly and using a comb is less damaging to the hair. So, ladies always remember it is best to use a comb.

Very well, I hope this blog gave you some more insight about the tease. Not many people try the curling one, so give it a shot and let me know how you liked it. Have a wonderful weekend, until next time.
